Jody, you may be following the story of the premature birth of Jesse's twins, and our miracle in Aiden's survival. I am sure you can relate to the roller coaster we are riding in all our lives right now. This showed up on Facebook at just the right moment for me. Bless you!

Jody-
Beautifully done! And what a great surprise to know you have a daily devotion. Can I please, please be on your mailing list.? I was so moved and touched by your insight, your wisdom and your beautiful sharing of self. I would love to have this as part of my daily devotion.

I was so incredibly touched to read yours sweet words and so blessed to hear that I said anything that was insightful in any way. God's love continues to surprise me and so does his inspiration.

Thank you for your encouragement, Mark! My husband, Henry, says that there isn't any "shortcuts" in Bible study that you have to "dig" to find the gold. I think that is why studying with others is helpful and an encouragement. You have encouraged me! BLESSINGS!

I found this post after doing a google search and I wanted to let you know that it spoke to me. I was having some alone time with God yesterday (which I don't do as often as I need to) and he whispered in my heart, "One talent". I turned to Matthew 25 and reread this parable and really searched myself and I found myself to be the one talent person. God has given me gifts and opportunities to serve but I act out of fear and don't respond. But something you said about being "wicked, lazy and useless" and I think you hit the nail on the head. The Lord as been dealing with me about my laziness. I think lazy people are wicked and useless because it takes effort to do the right thing.

Thank you for your post, the Lord used you to connect some dots within my life. Pray for the Church today and all the lazy people in them.

Blessings,
Ben
